2025 Ms. Missouri Senior America
Gloria Jean Vann

Gloria Jean Vann was born in St. Louis; the fourth of thirteen children.  She was raised in a musical family.  Married to David for 37 years, they have five children, 24 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Gloria holds an associate degree in Biblical Studies and a bachelor's degree in Church Ministry.  She began singing in first grade; played piano by ear at eight years old and learned to play violin, trumpet and guitar.

Gloria has served as a background vocalist for Patti LaBelle and participated in a European Gospel tour in 2012, she produced her CD titled "He's All I Need."  She is an inductee into the 2025 Gospel Music Hall of Fame.  Currently, Gloria serves as the Minister of Music at Cathedral at the Crossroads Church, where her husband, David, is the assistant pastor.  Additionally, she enjoys singing in the Community Gospel Choir of St. Louis and organizing family gatherings with her siblings.

Gloria is dedicated to serving the unhoused communities.  Her passion for working with children led her to return to work,  marking her third retirement.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Missouri Senior Cameo Club is a non profit organization sponsoring an annual pageant for senior women which fosters their talent development, charitable giving, community service, and personal growth.
